*Ying Jie’s POV*

“Morning, Miss.” A few servants came to greet me.

“Morning.” I bow at them since they bow at me.

“No need to bow.” He walked down from the stairs and pulled me to the dining room. My eyes widen.

“Are you very hungry?” I said. There are like a full table of food.

“I do not know what you like to eat so I asked them to prepare different types of food. What do you want to eat?” I stood on the ground like a statue. What is he thinking??!!

“Or.. You want to eat me?” I looked at him and pushed him away. I walked up to the table. “I choose food.” I took some bread and milk from the table.

“Just that?” He said. I nodded at him.

“I wouldn’t poison you, you know?” He said, walking towards me.

“Stay away from me.” I step a few steps back.

“Am I that scary?” He started walking towards me again.

“Yes. You kill people without blinking your eyes. You killed my dad. You..” As I looked into his eyes, his cold stare freaks me off. My voice gets softer and softer, not daring to continue voicing.

“I told you. Dads are just jerks.”

“You!!”

“Do you know? The first person I ever killed when I was 8, was my dad.” He then let out a cold smirk. My eyes widen when he said that. He.. He killed his dad. Himself??!!

“You.. You killed your dad?”

“What so surprising?” I looked at him. He doesn’t seem happy when he is saying this. I reached out my hand for his face. He seems to understand how I feel. He shifted away from me and walked away.

“What exactly do you want from me? You want to kill me too??!” I shout across the room.

He smirks and turned around, facing my direction. “I wouldn’t kill you. Maybe not now.” After saying, he walked out of the dining room. He.. There is still time in killing me?? What exactly is he thinking?? I just don’t understand. I finish eating my bread and milk and headed out. The moment I walked out of the dining room, the servants greet me again.

“Miss, this is prepared my Master. He’s waiting for you outside.”

“What are all these?”

“School uniform.” She replied.

“School uniform??!!”

“Master said that you would be happy going to school.” Why does he know? “Please go and change. He’s waiting for you.” I took over the uniform and went to change. I walked out of the house and saw him leaning against his car. I walked up to him.

“It looks good on you.” He said.

“Why you..” He leans forward and gave me a peck on my lips. “Let’s go.” He opens the car door for me. “Get in.” I looked at him before going into the car.

He starts the engine and we headed for school. On the way there..

“You..”

“Aren’t you always wanted to go to school?”

“How do you know?” I asked.

“I get Henry to check everything on you.”

“How can you do that?!!!” I turned to stare at him.

“Why not?” He smiled.

“Are you going to school too?” I asked. He stopped the car as it was red light. He turned to look at me.

“You want me to go school with you?” He said. I looked at him. “You mean you don’t go school? How.. How old are you??”

“What do you think?”

“I.. 22??” He then started laughing.

“What so funny?” He turned back to me.

“I’m only 18.”

“18??!!” I looked at him from head to toe. He doesn’t look 18!

“Why are you scanning me? Fall in love with me?”

“N.. No.. I..” I looked away from him. I could feel my cheeks burning. How can he say that?? So embarrassed. As the green light lights up, he continues driving to school.

“Let’s go.” He walked down of the car and I followed him. As we were walking into the school, everyone stared at us. Some of them started whispering to each other. Do I look weird with this uniform??

“Ying Jie..” I looked up and saw him looking at me. This is the first time I heard him calling my name. Does he check on my name too??!

“Yea?”

“Go for class. I will come and fetch you after school.” After saying, he kissed me on my lips and left. More eyes are staring at me. More whispering. I ignored them and headed to my classroom. He passed me all the documents and books before leaving.

“Would you like to introduce yourself?” The teacher asked.

“Erm.. I’m Ying Jie.” I looked at the teacher. What else do I need to say? The teacher looked at me and nodded.

“Ok. You just find any seats to sit.” I went to sit at the back at the empty table.

Just as I sat down..

“Sorry, I’m late.” Someone sprint in.

“Late again??!!” The teacher said. “Class starting. Go and sit down.” The guy started staring at me and walk towards me.

“Who are you? Why are you sitting at my seat?!” He asked. Just after he finish saying this sentence, someone at the other table tugged his shirt.

“Shh.. That’s Master Aaron’s woman.” He looked at me.

“I.. I’m sorry.” I said and stood up from the seat and walked to the other end of the classroom as there is another empty seat. At the end of school, I packed up my things and headed for the gate. He said he would come and fetch me.

“Hey..” I turned around to see that guy running up to me.

“Y..Yes??” I took 2 steps back. I only sat on his seat for a few seconds. Is he that angry?

“I’m sorry about just now.” He apologies?

“Oh. I should be the one apologizing. I’m the one who sat on your seat.” I wanted to walk away but he stopped me. He stretched out his hand.

“I’m Wang Zi.”

“I’m Ying Jie.” Seeing me not return the hand shake, he took back his hand. I’m getting so nervous. What does he wants? I hugged onto my books tightly.

“Why are you shaking? Are you ok?” He came forward to me.

“I’m..”

“What are you doing?” This voice.. I turned around and saw him staring at the both of us.
